Vice President, Owner, Designer
Brian Anderson is vice president, owner, and a designer for Cain & Company. Brian came into the advertising industry in the era before computers and is expertly versed in the fundamentals of design and art. Although he was trained as a fine artist, his specialty has always been cartoons. Throughout his career, he’s focused on two key elements: 1.) Incorporate the client’s needs with new ideas they may not have thought of, and 2.) Always view ideas from the viewpoint of the customer.
Born and raised in Rockford, Illinois, Brian attended Bethel University in St. Paul, Minnesota, where he studied art, graphic design, and history. He began as a freelancer, and then produced ads and flyers for the Sunday newspaper. After that, he decided to seek the glamour of the ad agency world. In 1989, he landed a job at Cain & Company where he met his wife, current President Amy Anderson.
He doesn’t have enough space here to list all of his interests, but they include WWII/20th century history, attending football games and training camp (Go Packers!), and Disney theme park vacations. He also enjoys nostalgia in the form of classic film, tv, music, and old-time radio programs.
